Join the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading for the 2019 Suncoast Summer Reading Challenge!
The Suncoast Summer Reading Challenge is a program implemented by the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and promoted through local summer camps to encourage children to read to help reduce the “summer slide.”
Parents, grandparents, childcare professionals, early learning educators, and caregivers are encouraged to participate in the 2019 Summer Reading Challenge and be energized by this year’s Keynote Speaker, La Tonya Pinkard, associate professor of English at Independence Community College in Kansas and an education warrior in the popular Netflix Documentary, Last Chance U (Season 3).
